Something old, something new, Brian Polar is bringing the jams for your sunny weekend ahead.  Noted for his A+ production skills, and producing for heavy hitters Marvel the Gr8, Leeboy Nasty and Random Citizens, Brian decided it was time to open up his head and give us a peek at what keeps him inspired.  1973 (A SOUL MIXTAPE) is an exploration in all things funk and soul.  I was lucky enough to catch this set live at the J-Davey show in April at the Echo Plex (performed by “The Brians”, ft. Brian Polar on decks and Brian Vaziftar on drums).  Let me tell you, if you are looking for a FUN DANCE PARTY mix, THIS IS IT.  I’ve had this in my car all week, and I am lovin the feel good vibes.  Everybody’s happy when this is playing!!
