The almighty Daft Punk pyramid is largely accredited to starting the “stage” trend of a continual “one-up-manship”of creating the craziest, most awesomeist stage ever conceived.

It’s good timing too, as music is devalued to almost zero what with torrents, blogs, youtube, and firesharing sites like mediafire.

It seems like the entire music industry is becoming live-centered and it makes sense then for heavy pressure to be put on the “live experience”.
