How Disco Changed the World.

 How Disco Changed the World.

As current music changes, we now hear more and more dance music. Dance influenced beats are incorporated into every aspect of music. From rock, pop, Hip hop, and country. This new wave of dance music has had such a huge impact to bring people together who share similar interests. This new counter culture which started with raves has now diversified into Festivals, Shows, Bars, and clubs. This bringing of like minded individuals has leaked into the mainstream culture and has allowed and influenced everything from fashion to politics. We all may have experiences of our parents and grand parents grooving to random Disco songs, but unaware of the importance and similarities it has with our current Dance music revolution. Disco started a counter culture movement and helped unite people. Disco brought fashion, style, politics, and helped influence the creation of Hip Hop. Disco brought the Gay community, latin, and African- American together. Then the mainstream grabbed a hold of it and at that point everyone was united. Changing the history of Music, Politics, and History forever. For a greater explanation, check this video out.

The Gallery offered people a chance to customize certain bikes on display, and showcased some of their very best bikes. Solé has a unique story and Los Angeles is the backdrop of this story. Creating culture and creativity in the amazing city many of us live in. Here’s the short story on Solé:

“Solé Bicycle Company was founded in 2009 by two best friends at USC who were fed up with the state of fixed gear bicycles. With a shared determination and vision, we set out to introduce high performance, stylish and affordable fixed gear bicycles to the planet”
