DJ FADE: I winded up gettin into DJ’ing by my mother. Bringing me to a skating ring for the very first time, She knew the DJ personally and brought me up there to the DJ booth. He let me scratch the vinyl, I saw the reaction it caused to the crowd, and it was a positive response. There was so much energy in the crowd that you would of thought it was new years eve. I always loved that crowd reaction.
DJ FADE: I got into producing by my friend DJ Kiff, who is in brick bandits. He introduced me to this program called fruity loops studio, and he told me to teach myself so I could develop my own sound. Every since then I worked on it and under a year of production I got my song played on hot97 and power 105.1
Danceism: So how did you get into the Jersey Club sound?
DJ FADE: I Got into the Jersey Club sound by attending my first party. At the end of my eight grade year my friend threw a graduation party. This was my first party I ever attended and the DJ played house and club music, which I was not too familiar with at the time but it grew on me so fast. Every since that day I have been researching where this music came from and who was making it. Little did I know 95% of the producers lived in My area. Im very close to most of the Brick Bandit members and My first influences were DJ Tameil, and DJ Tim Dolla. I always used to Go to their myspace pages every day just to see what they would put out next. One producer that stood out a lot to me was DJ Runnah, because of his chopping skills and creativity.
Danceism: What’s your inspiration to make music?
DJ FADE: My inspiration to make music is to just express myself musically. That is the main purpose . As I continued to get better, more and more fans approach me every day showing respect and that pushes me to continue to make good music.
Danceism: You recently went to Mad Decent Block Party. How did it go? And any crazy stories you can share?
DJ FADE: Yes, I went to the MDBB. It was the greatest experience of my life. I went crowd surfing for the first time and what made that day so unique is being able to be exposed to different type of music im not used too. They also shouted me out twice that day. I know DJ Tim Dolla Personally and he showed love. I love Mosh pits now lol. Im really crazy when it comes to parties I love to enjoy myself. One crazy story that happened that night is i lost my phone while crowd surfing and someone gave it to me. Now for anyone who has been to a MDBB knows that the chance of me getting my phone back is 1 to 10000.
Danceism: You’re a DJ, Producer, college student, and close to your parents. How do you maintain and manage your time with all these different aspects of your life?

Its all about time management and thats what college has taught me especially while having a job on campus.
