OMG. I needed a reboot of this track, and Surkin answered my prayers. Every bad girl needs an anthem, and even if you’re a good girl, I encourage you to join in and get DOWN. My only complaint about the whole remix is the addition of car alarms which have scared the bajesus out of me on more than one occasion. This is more a refix in my opinion than a full out remix, but whatever, who cares? This is a pants off, dance off song… don’t ask questions.
Nothing like a little bit of groovy, funky login to get your day feelin happy. Thievery Corporation brings the heat as it is, and this remix just adds that extra pinch of party to get you dancing. Perfect tunes for cruising at sunset before a night out, especially if you are heading out to HARD SUMMER this weekend. Get funky!
This Ill-Wave remix is an oldie but oh-so-goodie, and I couldn’t not share it. The build up is slow and deliberate into a future sound that pushes you forward into a room full of mermaids on acid. What? That didn’t happen to you? Well shit, you need some better headphones or speakers or something, because that is exactly what this remix summons in MY HEAD.
Mmmm you know me, and my love for Indy dance music, y’all. This sexy remix of this Of Monsters and Men song is THE TRACK that will get you laid this Summer. I promise you. Now, please use this knowledge wisely, because once those horns kick in, that bitch is gonna be sweatin you for a long ass time, and you better be in for the long-haul. YOU FEEL ME?
This time last year, if you played me any Rolling in the Deep (original, remix, cover, anything), I’d eviscerate you with a rusted letter opener. Thankfully, a whole year later, I’m finally recovered and I can admit “yeah, I DO like this remix!”. Sorry, I love Adele, but gotdamn that shit got repetitive. John Legend really breathes new life into the track and Skeet and Turbotito just give it the right amount of Disco to re-imagine it into a whole new classic.
