I cant NOT post a Joy Division remix on the 32nd Anniversary of Ian Curtis’s death, are you kidding me? What kind of music blogger would I be if I just failed to recognize his sultry baritone voice, let alone the fact that the music he wrote is still relevant to any heartbroken, yearning 20-something today.  This brilliant Nu Disco remix pulls you in with simple snaps and a heavy drumbeat that makes you want to find your crush in a dark room full of strangers and just… chill.  I love that they kept the vocals in the forefront, with haunting synths floating melodically as Ian croons “Love will tear us apart… again…” Virgin Magnetic Material Soundcloud
