Infiction 440x439 Introducing: InFiction

LA house production duo, InFiction, are somewhat of an oddity on the scene, given that they’ve spent numerous years producing dark anthems to set the tone for films such as Wrath of the Titans and Superman Returns.

The pair, Dan Asthma and Doran Oppenheimer, cite films such as The Shining for their love for producing tracks for film – but have recently been making moves towards the mainstream, releasing a number of mixes.

Being progressive house enthusiasts their beats are often very minimal but remixes of tracks such as ‘Let’s Dance’ originally by David Bowie and ‘Human’ by The Killers makes for a stylish sound.

InFiction has previously released original compositions through label The Academy Of Fists (responsible for artists such as Spunkshine).

The outfit’s huge driving treble sounds, big beats and often trance-style synths have made them regulars in LA clubland and the pair are now making the move towards capturing the ears of the wider world – playing sets across Europe and Africa.
