Hailing from Iceland, Steed Lord has been touring the globe bringing their high energy art / performance project to all corners of the world. DIY since 06 they’ve featured in all sorts of magazines, TV shows, blogs etc. They even designed their own line for H&M! With remixes on duty like Jack Beats, Crookers, DJ Mehdi & Don Rimini it no wonder these guys have been gettin global attention.

BEN OPRSTU
DANCEiSM’s co-founder and very own wild-child, Ben Oprstu is back from Europe to claim a title for dance-floor demolishing. A very “live” kind of guy, Ben brings the energy, flipping out on stage and building tracks into massive drops. His approach is spiritual, promoting positive expression through DANCE. Keep a lookout for Ben in 2011, his debut EP, Hologram is soon to be released. Download his INVASIA mixtape free below.
PAUL DEVRO
Music man and taste-maker behind Diplo’s Mad Decent, this guy know’s whats happening in the music world. He was the first to crowd surf at DANCEiSM and also the first to continue DJing with his laptop sideways because some girl spilt beer on it. Paul is the party and his sets are well versed in the cosmic arts of combing unknown and well-known tracks that keep the floor booty shakin.
BETATRAXX
You may of caught Betatraxx and his live set earlier this month at Versus. Since his We Are Your Friend’s remix blew up over a year ago Betatraxx has been the talk of the town in LA and all over the blog scene. Betatraxx is Tim Tim Nelson and his classically trained musical background sets himself apart from the crowd by inducing melodic arrangements with a solid electro sound. Betatraxx has recently released their first EP ‘The X’ for the world to share, and it’s FREE! Grab ‘The X’ out now on Betatraxx soundcloud.
FUNK THE FRESH
FUNKTHEFRESH is an LA-Native known for his chicago influenced style of performance and successful weekly LA events. He is also known for captivating the UCLA scene by putting together underground events and is a key player in founding UH OH DISCO record label. Catching the attention of James Amato (Founder of Potty mouth Music and prior Music Director of Chicago’s Award Nominated Smart Bar), he calls Funkthefresh “One of the best djs in LA. ” With remixes featured on beatport and itunes, his funky style has been appreciated with critical acclaim by some of the biggest dj names in the world.
THE KID
Get ready to get Shifty, Kyle aka The Kid has been a regular at DANCEiSM events all the way back to our roots. He runs a great music blog, Get Shifty and also directs fantastic music videos for the likes of Deadmaud5 and Mad Decent friends, talk about multi-talented. He’s about to drop the bomb this friday, with an insane new mix and origonal track that’s sure to please. Check em out, and keep eye out this friday, we’ll def do a post
