Hey im back from Berlin. Thats me in one of the places I found. More info soon. I’m too busy writing a short story on my travels there, update soon… It’s gunna take a few days.. Come back in a few.
In other news MiCHAEL has been tearin up the west coast.
They’ve been headlining shows all the way out in San Fran, and they just played at the official HARD afterparty.
I added my favorite song of theirs, Jack this Shit, a remix with a strong driving synth that just gets stuck in your head. The swing of the drums, and cowbell extravaganza mix well with vocals, wait for the end I LOVEEE the syntthhsss!
Their’s a new style in the streets, its called Running in Fields…
Actually, there is no such thing.
There’s me running in a field somewhere in das Germany, I went to go see the sunset and got lost in the trees. That neon anomaly is my jacket. I threw it off in a flurry of excitement.
Mixin it up a bit, this time. These are chilled songs to listen when your drifting in the fields. Except for the deep house dance track by Apparat. ** mean YOU MUST HAVE…
OH! And some George Michael to add some light-hearted cheesyness.
An uplifting synth drivees this one, something for those rising sun moments, or high energy lax moments in the car. When you need a pick me up, but nothing too intense.
Radiohead, Chemical Brothers, Digitalism, Sigar Ros, Hotchip, Justice, Soulwax, Cool Kids, Rosin Murphy, The Hives, Beck, Underworld and many more.
The biggest, and greatest 4 day festival i’ve ever been to. My friend told me about it a week before it happened, so I quickly bought tickets, we rented a car and drove out to Belgium. Aside from the GPS flat out lying where we were, we made it safely on the AutoBahn to Belgium and just in time for me to catch Digitalism closing the night set. I went straight to the front, big crowds get really rowdy, I got elbowed in the face. :D
Chemical Brothers have an insane live set that you HAVE to see to believe, they use some kind of technology to project images into 3D space, its ridiculous!
Radiohead came fully equipped with a crazy hanging LED setup.
Is it just me or since DAFT PUNK’s Pyramid everyone is investing in sweet stage effects?
Exploring Europe by train together or alone, I find myself stairing out into the ocean of endless fields looking for those “perfect” songs that encapsulate how great I feel. Don’t fear the moment, these songs bring me closer.
Like the never ending fields, life has so much to offer. I’m high on life, it’s cliche, but it’s true.
Whatever your situation, turn on these songs and let go in the moment.
Here are some very special songs, that have brought me to the world’s end and back.
The city is a CLASSIC example of europe, its far too picturesque for its own good. We saw many sight, heard many sounds, and smelled alotta strange scents.
Nightlife in Prague is great, we spent our time wisely having a few drinks and playing the role of irresponsible drunk tourist, fighting a cab driver in the streets, and running up escalators from the dreaded Czech police. All in all it was a great trip, I had a lot of fun with great people.
It was not long in Prague, before I found out that the BIGGEST club in central europe was right around the corner from our Hostel; a FIVE-Story Club. Yes, thats right, 5 floors of dancing madness. If you get bored in one, go the next floor! Haha, the concept is ridiculous. BUT, it works! Each floor is uniquely decorated, a different setup, with different music.
The first floor was like a dark basement rave, 2nd Floor: was a lazer, light dance fest, 3rd Floor: was a lit up disco floor with 80s music, 4 Floor: was in da club Hiphop and 5th Floor: was laid back chill roof lounge.
Here is a pic of the club outside.
Scroll down for pics of the inside.
Below are some SONGS for download.
TURN UP THE BASSSSS Zombie Nation, make great dance tracks and this one has deep bass, aLMOST minimal house. This song is for fun, and less insane dancing. Wait for the singing to come in.
The Shoes make some fun remixes that have a wide range of feels. This one has “Rolex” in the hook, you can expect a more in da club vibe. It’s also very bouncy.
DANCEiSM is a movement centered around the music, the art, and the community. DANCEiSM is for anybody, but not for everybody. Let's dance.
